I'm able to find this mSATA adapter, but a lot of the reviews mention the SSD does not sit flat using this adapter and runs the risk of physically damaging the connectors. My question to you guys is, should I keep the OWC SSD or stomach the restocking fee and go the route of an mSATA or M.2 SSD with an adapter? The latter seems to bring its own host of problems though.

For what it's worth, however, I had no issues doing a clean install of Catalina on it. Unfortunately, only after installing it did I run across all the negative reviews for OWC SSDs.
